Beyond digital product and UI design, illustration serves as my creative foundation for exploring stylized rendering, color harmony, and merchandise manufacturing. Working on original IP and physical merchandise allows me to drive the full product lifecycle—from initial rough doodles to crowdfunding, manufacturer sampling, quality control, packaging design, and fulfillment.
Original Comics & Community
In addition to physical merchandise, I publish episodic digital comic strips based on the Lazy Penguin universe on Webtoons.
Lazy Penguin: Original IP & Merchandise
'Lazy Penguin' is an original character brand created around themes of cozy relaxation, sweet treats, and charming low-stress daily moments.
Through a community Kickstarter campaign, I designed, funded, and produced an enamel pin collection celebrating cozy food themes. The campaign involved creating promotional banner graphics, tier reward structures, and manufacturing technical proofs.

Food Art & Cafe Studies
Food art is a dedicated study in surface textures, appetizing color temperatures, and soft specular highlights. Inspired by the charming cafe menu aesthetic of Pokémon Café Remix, I created speedpaints focusing on stylized beverages, fruit garnishes, and dessert plates.
